A Rocket To The Moon - Wild & Free
thecorrespondence:
A Rocket To The Moon hasn’t released an album since 2009 with On Your Side and I will be completely honest, it wasn’t my favorite record. In all actuality I’ve never been a huge fan of A Rocket To The Moon. I was being optimistic though going into listening to this album. I figured almost four years has done them good, and it was a much-needed break to sit back and reflect...

Body myths debunked:
Myth no.1 - When I am skinny, I will like my body: When you accept your body for all its wonderful quirks and imperfections, you will like your body.
Myth no.2 - Losing weight will make me happy: Following your dreams, surrounding yourself with people you love and appreciate and forgiving yourself and others will make you happy.
Myth no.3 - A healthy lifestyle means working out every day and never eating bad food: No food is bad, and a healthy lifestyle is doing what's good for your heart as well as what's good for your body. Even if that means lying in bed all day and eating chocolate sometimes.
Myth no.4 - All thin girls love their bodies: Every person, no matter what they look like, has their insecurities. Embrace your own, and know that you are not alone.
Myth no.5 If I eat x, y or z and follow x, y or z celebrity's workout regime I will look like them: No. No matter how you eat or how long you spend in the gym, you will look like you at whatever weight you are at. You can't replicate another human being's body in your own.
Myth no.6 - It's always unhealthy to have a bmi above 25: BMI scales were invented for the convenience of insurance companies, not as an accurate measure of health. Your healthy weight is determined by your body type, composition, lifestyle and diet, not by a made up chart.
Myth no.7 - If I was smaller, I could wear a bikini and short shorts and strapless dresses: You can wear whatever you like, whether you wear it in a size 0 or a size 14. Your beauty is not defined by the clothes you wear.
Myth no.9 - I can solve my problems using my body: You have to look deeper - your problems do not stem from the circumference of your thighs or the amount of fat on your stomach. They are deeper than that, and the solution lies deeper than that as well.

Transit At The Barbary [4/7/13]
thecorrespondence:
On April 7th, at The Barbary, I attended the Young New England Tour with headliner Transit and opening acts Seahaven, All Get Out, and Young Statues. Young Statues opened up and because of wrong set times, I did miss Young Statues’ set, but I have seen them live before, and take my word for it, they are definitely a band to look out for. They are a rock indie band from right...

Fall Out Boy Surprises Us With Each Album
Evening Out With Your Girlfriend: Garage Pop-Punk
Take This To Your Grave: Pop-Punk
From Under The Cork Tree: Pop-Punk/Post-Hardcore
Infinity On High: Pop-Punk/Post-Hardcore/Pop-Rock
Folie A Deux: Pop-Rock/Post-Hardcore/Pop-Punk/R&B/Blues
Save Rock And Roll: Pop-Rock/Pop/R&B
If you hate any one of these albums, there is definitely an album you do like. I, for one, can't wait to see what FOB does next. I may not be too fond of SRAR, but what if the next album is the best ever? That's what Fall Out Boy is all about.

Senses Fail At The Troc [4/4]
thecorrespondence:
I had the pleasure to see Senses Fail with Such Gold, Real Friends, and Major League on April 4th at The Trocadero in Philadelphia. Major League was first to go on and they did nothing short but impress. Major League is actually from New Jersey so this was a hometown show for them. The crowd new every word and wasn’t shy to sing along. One of their more popular songs “Need I...
Senses Fail - Renacer
thecorrespondence:
The last time Senses Fail came out with an album was almost three years ago. They released The Fire in 2010 and now they are back and with vengeance. The new album, Renacer, is definitely one for the books. I was not expecting anything like this, but I am not disappointed in the least bit.
